Your End-of-March update.

You may have noticed not much has changed on the website here over the last couple of months. The storefront business has been keeping us hopping lately, and for various reasons we haven't had as much time as we'd like to devote to website development. We are still updating our stock lists, and we're still in the process of pricing up and listing even more new material. Please note we still have a lot of recently acquired Dell and Gold Key Disney books available for sale, so feel free to check those out.

We've also acquired a very large collection of older science fiction and fantasy paperbacks that we've slowly been going through. If you happen to be in the area of Mission Hills, CA this coming Sunday (the 29th), we'll have a table at the Paperback Collectors Show & Sale. It runs from 9 AM 'til 4:30 PM, located at the Guest House Inn on 10621 Sepulveda Bldv. For more info, call 818-349-3844, or 323-661-5052.

We are still planning on getting a shopping cart system in place here, but meanwhile you can always feel free to contact us at the phone number or email address above with any questions, orders, or concerns.

Slowly but surely...

...we're getting the website up to speed. There's been a lot of behind-the-scenes work on the site, as we've been on an endless quest to find a shopping cart system that 1) does what it needs us to do, and 2) we can configure relatively easily. I think I may have finally found something...it will take a bit of set-up, but I'm pretty sure it's what we're looking for.

In the meantime, I did want to note that I've finally started listing that collection of CGC graded comics that we're selling on consignment for one of our customers. Just visit our site and click on "COMICS" for the beginnings of our list. More will be added as time allows!

The rebuilding continues.

We now have a working shopping cart system...we're slowly rolling it out and should have it available for more items soon! I've just got it on the Toys section right now, for the latest set of DC Direct figures. It may be a while before I have it available for our general comic lists, but I should have it up and running for special items, more toys, graphic novels, and so on.

Also, we recently received a large quantity of CGC graded-and-slabbed comics that we're selling on consignment for a customer. I should have a list of those uploaded to the site shortly.

In the meantime, thank you for your continued patronage and, of course, your patience as we continue getting our site back on its feet!

We're back!

Hey everyone! Thanks for your patience while we try to get the site up and running again after our weeks-long outage (thanks, old webhoster whose billing department apparently never talked to its tech department!).

I know a few of our pages are just filler at the moment, which I realize is kind of lame, but I wanted to get the site back up as soon as possible so folks didn't think we'd vanished completely. I still have several things to do to the site...some cosmetic, some practical...so don't be alarmed if things change around every couple of days. Hopefully soon we'll have an actual shopping cart system at work here, which will probably require some extensive retyping of all our stock listings, but it will certainly make things more convenient for you and us!

So, excuse our dust, as they say, while we get our site whipped into shape. As always, if you have any questions or requests, drop us a line or give us a call.
